Giving Back to Those Who Gave First

Every year, Raybrook Homes selects one deserving veteran in our community to receive a complete bathroom remodel — at no cost to them.

It started simply. Several members of our team have family members who served, and we wanted to find a concrete, meaningful way to express gratitude rather than just words. A bathroom remodel isn't symbolic — it's functional. It improves daily life. For veterans dealing with mobility challenges or aging-in-place concerns, an updated, accessible bathroom can make a genuine difference in independence and quality of life.

What the Giveaway Includes

Each year's recipient receives a full bathroom renovation completed by our team at no charge. The scope is designed around the veteran's specific needs — which may include walk-in shower accessibility features, grab bars and safety hardware, new fixtures and finishes, updated flooring, and improved lighting.

We don't cut corners because it's a giveaway. The work is done to the same standard as every project we take on. The veterans we work with have earned that standard and more.

How to Nominate

Nominations open each year in the spring. We accept self-nominations and nominations from family members, friends, neighbors, and community organizations. We look for veterans in our service area — Greenville, Greer, Spartanburg, and surrounding Upstate communities — who could benefit from an improved bathroom and who have demonstrated character and service.

Selection is made by our team based on need, fit, and project feasibility. Every nomination is read and considered.
